Clear skies welcomed the 56569 spectators who had made their way to KUIVIŽI. Fredrik Oskarsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Sebastian Pauwels and Cenap Özak. Capitals were relying on their ability to counter-attack. The cannonball from 35 metres by A. Araújo of MKL75 was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. A counterattack by Capitals after 13 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but M. Wella, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. 29 minutes into the game, a swerving free kick by A. Schmid-Hauser almost resulted in the home team taking the lead, but the shot glanced harmlessly off the frame of the goal. MKL75 took the lead 30 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as H. Enula elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. The counterattacks of Capitals were deadly and 33 minutes into the game, M. Wella received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 1 - 1. Halftime score was 1 - 1. MKL75 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 83 percent of possession.

60 minutes into the game, MKL75 wanted to bring some new energy to their game. J. Semjonovs gave K. Stenblom a quick hug as he left the field. After 60 minutes, the MKL75 coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving T. Gigon off the field. M. Chipende took his place. H. Enula would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. S. Fazzone entered the game for MKL75 as the match clock showed 62 minutes. A wonderful trick by T. Sabat that left B. Scharfenberg bewildered really deserved to end in a goal but the keeper made a fine save. MKL75 could have put themselves ahead after 72 minutes but S. Sartasov missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. S. Fazzone sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from A. Schmid-Hauser after 79 minutes of play, making the score 2 - 1. MKL75's B. Kazemian was shown a yellow card after 82 minutes for slicing down an opponent. A. Elsons's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Capitals, he bravely continued in the match. The referee showed MKL75's S. Fazzone the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Possession in this half belonged to MKL75, who controlled the ball 88 percent of the time.

Most important MKL75 player was M. Chipende. D. Gallagher was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Capitals player was without a doubt O. Khayretdinov. W. Zimończyk turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
