Sveķis's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After 32 minutes, the defensive line of YTONG/Lala created a counterattack through the middle that gave M. bin Saleh a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Libava had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

YTONG/Lala's M. Rachkevich found himself alone on the left side 49 minutes into the match and laid down a perfect shot - right into the arms of the keeper! It was obvious that Libava had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. YTONG/Lala were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 66 minutes, K. Līcis swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 1 - 2. YTONG/Lala enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

The most dominating YTONG/Lala player was without a doubt K. Zēbergs. J. Kristiansen was a disappointment, however. Libava's best player was J. Jančárek. However, R. Lenne made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 2.
