The 12000 spectators at
Lionize Arena 08 were in for an afternoon of sunshine.

N. Dortāns broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay.

Confident in their lead, Ezerskie's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.

After 62 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
A. Ļipovskis to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 5.

Due to a severely mistimed tackle,
N. Dortāns of Ezerskie spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game.

Ž. Deičmanis increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 8.
