The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 12000 had shown up at Arena Detuso for the match. Mathis Wasserfahr was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Juan Vanzzino and Simon Mattes. It seemed as though Rastafari considered the game won before even taking the field, which resulted in a very uninspired start to the game. Rastafari saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Rastafari took the lead 19 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. G. Martins was the scorer. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Rastafari's J. Lazdiņš somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for B. Uçkaç, who struck for 0 - 2. After 32 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave J. Araiza a chance to increase the lead for Rastafari, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 3. A. Gavrilescu increased Rastafari's lead to 0 - 4 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner. The visitors' J. Araiza took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 38 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for Rastafari. After this, you could see that the players of Rastafari were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Some fine movement on the left led to a Rastafari goal after 39 minutes, making it 0 - 6. P. Stupnikov was noted down as the scorer. It was 0 - 6 at the break. Rastafari enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 85 percent of possession.

56 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 7 as J. Araiza finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. At that, J. Araiza was noted down for a hat trick! After 61 minutes, Rastafari's P. Stupnikov burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 8. After 62 minutes, A. Beylin made a complete fool of himself when he presented the ball to the feet of B. Uçkaç who smashed it into the open goal for Rastafari. 0 - 9. A drive down the left side allowed A. Gavrilescu to get in close and score another goal for Rastafari after 70 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 10. 76 minutes into the game, Rastafari were awarded a penalty and A. Gavrilescu was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 11 rolling the ball in by the right post. This third goal completed a hattrick for A. Gavrilescu. After 81 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for J. Araiza who increased Rastafari's lead to 0 - 12. Possession in this half belonged to Rastafari, who controlled the ball 89 percent of the time.

Detuso's top performer was clearly L. Kholodnyak. R. Petrov was a disappointment, however. G. Martins performed admirably for Rastafari. J. Lazdiņš on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 12.
