Due to an all-day shower, 22280 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at sucs Arena. Joel Borst was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Saverio Corigliano and Sylvain Vigneau. sucs decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. Biksāns bravely attempted to execute a diving header and the ball was met firmly with his forehead for Igauņi2. 0 - 1. The home crowd was not impressed when K. Uryn came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 10 minutes. Igauņi2 were now up 0 - 2. Confident in their lead, Igauņi2's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. With 21 minutes played, Igauņi2 put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was S. Shikalev. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from J. Biksāns after 28 minutes, and prevented Igauņi2 from going up another goal. After 30 minutes of play, Igauņi2's A. Elcers unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and I. Avotiņš slotted it into the net for 0 - 4. Some fine movement on the left led to a Igauņi2 goal after 36 minutes, making it 0 - 5. I. Avotiņš was noted down as the scorer. 0 - 5 was the score after the first half. Igauņi2 had most of the ball, with 68 percent of possession.

The rain made it hard for players like A. Rajeckis to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. After 62 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for K. Grīnbergs who increased Igauņi2's lead to 0 - 6. K. Grīnbergs of Igauņi2 took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 64 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 7. U. Rygal' didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. A. Elcers could have put his team up another goal 71 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. After 72 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed A. Beiziters to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 8. Igauņi2 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

sucs's best player was K. Jaundžeikars. V. Norde was a disappointment, however. Most important Igauņi2 player was J. Rozenbergs. I. Zeltiņš on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 8.
