0 - 1 was the score with 15 minutes played, after G. Raņķis cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for FK-U-20. After 30 minutes of game time, N. Bundzenieks had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but M. Rajeckis was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. After 34 minutes of play, M. Ozoliņš equalised for SemaforaFK after an elegant attack from the right. 36 minutes in, SemaforaFK's R. Ūšelis received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. FK-U-20's A. Dardedzis got himself booked for a foul. With 40 minutes played M. Ozoliņš almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. 42 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but A. Dardedzis, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. It was 1 - 1 at the break. FK-U-20 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

At 51 minutes played, R. Ūšelis came in from the right with the intention of giving SemaforaFK the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. The goal to make it 1 - 2 was scored by A. Dardedzis after 52 minutes, following an opportunistic counterattack down the middle by FK-U-20. SemaforaFK's R. Ūšelis put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 2 - 2 with 53 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. The guests took the lead 65 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in V. Lysich scoring to make it 2 - 3. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, D. Šmits got himself booked. The manager of SemaforaFK was not happy. The home crowd was not impressed when N. Bundzenieks came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 69 minutes. FK-U-20 were now up 2 - 4. With 74 minutes played, M. Brenčs of SemaforaFK fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Possession in this half belonged to FK-U-20, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

SemaforaFK's best player was M. Brenčs. A. Siņavskis was a disappointment, however. FK-U-20's top performer was clearly R. Lutriņš. A. Laķis turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 4.
