The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 12000 had shown up at FK Svēte Arena for the match. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Svēte, as N. Dunders left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. V. Lulle took his place on the field. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Raichuk enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

69 minutes into the match and the home team took a 2 - 1 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Svēte was A. Teteris. The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 73 minutes, A. Bandonis broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. V. Lulle made a great block, though. One of many good crosses from G. Briksnis on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by J. Runcis, who scored for Svēte. 3 - 1 Svēte claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

Svēte's best player was G. Makstenieks. V. Lulle turned in a dismal performance, however. Raichuk's top performer was clearly L. Streņģis. Ē. Galviņš was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
