Nuhtlus 2 - 2 Global (381587243)

The 55046 fans in attendance at Estonian Losers Arena were roasting in the hot sun. José Luis Dávila was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kenneth Andersson and Oscar Sanz. Nuhtlus tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players took the field: Hettrich - Alidori, Gerber, Isolabella - Dubowski, Domergue, Canzano, Diringshofen, Tremone - Gohn, Maset.

Global had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. They fielded: Smith - Lehtiranta, Kanter - Popescu, Kocsis, Sennheiser, Nerheim, Kielan - Alfonso, Evergren, Veenpere.

Today, Global's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. The sun seemed to put J. Alfonso in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long. B. Evergren had a good try after 27 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. 31 minutes in, Global's F. Nerheim received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. J. Kielan sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from M. Lehtiranta after 36 minutes of play, making the score 0 - 1. After 38 minutes of play, L. Gohn equalised for Nuhtlus after an elegant attack from the right. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Nuhtlus enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

After 54 minutes, the visitors nearly went up a goal, but M. Lehtiranta's free kick hit the crossbar. After 56 minutes, Global's J. Alfonso made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 1 - 2. 62 minutes in, and Nuhtlus were able to score the equalising goal to make it 2 - 2 when S. Tremone picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper. After a fine move down the middle L. Maset nearly gave the home side a goal after 65 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Nuhtlus claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

L. Gohn performed admirably for Nuhtlus. T. Diringshofen turned in a dismal performance, however. Global's top performer was clearly V. Veenpere. B. Evergren was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 2.
