Autero had seen it all before, so he waited patiently for the right opportunity. He would get no better chance than the one he took, but his shot was deftly blocked by the keeper. After 34 minutes, Võrumaa were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. T. Nõmmeots did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. LÕIKAJAD enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 54 minutes, LÕIKAJAD did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, H. Enden was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 0. LÕIKAJAD's J. Lest had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 72 minutes having been played. R. Lest was the replacement. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of LÕIKAJAD to 2 - 0 as L. Kuznetsov finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. With 83 minutes played, LÕIKAJAD put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to G. Heinla, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The referee showed LÕIKAJAD's A. Pärn the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. LÕIKAJAD managed to extend their lead to 4 - 0 when L. Kuznetsov cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. After this, you could see that the players of LÕIKAJAD were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. LÕIKAJAD's T. Vaglaots struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 5 - 0 after 87 minutes. 88 minutes in, LÕIKAJAD's T. Vaglaots received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, D. Mukhin of Võrumaa spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game.
