R. Saare tied the game at 1 - 1 after 17 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right.
cancaseiro were given a free kick 20 minutes into the game, just after a swift counter attack broke down. Rather than shooting straight at goal, it was directed at the area just in front of the keeper. The attackers made several runs and made it hard for the defenders to protect their goal. After a short tussle with a defender,
R. Saare could finally lay the ball to rest behind the keeper. 1 - 2, and proof it can pay off to come prepared.
23 minutes into the game, FLORA seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
solid level of organisation.
S. Peedu increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 3.
FLORA reduced the lead to 2 - 3 with 27 minutes on the clock when
M. Vaher got the best of a ball floated in from the left.
28 minutes in, FLORA appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
passable.
FLORA were great at switching from defence to attack, and after 29 minutes,
A. Pyörälä swept through the middle on a counterattack, making the score 3 - 3.
The corner kick from
S. Peedu was powerfully met by the head of
K. Jalakas to make the score 3 - 4.
FLORA put pressure on the visitors' central defence 34 minutes into the game, but
B. Nikolov couldn't find an opening.
With 36 minutes played, cancaseiro put themselves up 3 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
M. Voormansik.
R. Saare showed why he is feared on the counterattack, breaking through in the middle and scoring for cancaseiro after 39 minutes to make the score 3 - 6.
The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 6.
Possession in this half belonged to FLORA, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.
Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of FLORA was able to get his message across, and raised FLORA's organisation to
solid.
The home crowd cheered when, after 69 minutes,
R. Saare's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day.
82 minutes into the game FLORA broke through on the left wing and
M. Laja managed to reduce the lead to 4 - 6.
FLORA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.
The most dominating FLORA player was without a doubt
B. Nikolov.
V. Ereš was a disappointment, however.
K. Zilbershteyn performed admirably for cancaseiro.
However,
I. Leiten made a disastrous appearance.
