Clear skies welcomed the 60179 spectators who had made their way to
Fosso di Helm.
Walter Stocker was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jochim Baum and
Petja Kuure.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for JuveGondor.
Starters: Usseglio - Perner, Shima, Rinaldo - Segaricci, Micheli, Zavatta, Cupaiolo, Torru - Segre, Oppio.
SuperNova! started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
They fielded: Buffon - El-Usman, Draschan, Verderame, Benussi - Semoni, Carena, Carrubbi, Allianz - Forni, Peila.
For their match strategy, SuperNova! had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible.

The JuveGondor coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy.

After a fine move down the middle
Z. Oppio nearly gave the home side a goal after 65 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide.
SuperNova! almost scored after a swift counterattack 66 minutes into the game, but
D. Allianz put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal.
M. Rinaldo caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 67 minutes. This gave JuveGondor the 2 - 1 lead.
With 74 minutes gone,
F. Draschan suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by SuperNova! caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring.
G. Cupaiolo of JuveGondor received a yellow card after 79 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
81 minutes into the game SuperNova!'s
L. Carena found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 2 - 2.
Priding himself in being an active coach, the JuveGondor manager gave new instructions to his players after 82 minutes.
82 minutes into the match, the JuveGondor manager wanted to try a new tactic, and the players loyally obliged.
