Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 27490 at
Stadium Arcadium today.

Monza started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.

L. Zanner entered the game for Monza as the match clock showed 1 minutes.
After 21 minutes, the defensive line of Monza created a counterattack through the middle that gave
G. Sutter a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
J. Honkimäki always provides an aerial threat at corners, and with 26 minutes gone, he demonstrated this, outjumping his marker, then letting out an anguished howl as his powerful header went narrowly wide.
The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to
L. Zanner, but the Monza player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0!
A great save by keeper
G. Tama after 37 minutes kept the visitors in the game after
G. Sutter struck from the left with a real cannonball.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Monza's
N. Zotalis increasing the lead to 2 - 0.
40 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
N. Zotalis broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Monza.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Monza lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.

The Monza players could smell victory in the air.
L. Zanner wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for

Monza managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when
S. Gravić cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
The coach of Monza was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 89 minutes,
K. Kriisa came on for
N. Zotalis.
fora enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.
