Muhtar increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 43 minutes. It was 2 - 0 at the break. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

During the break, Yellow's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. Yellow nearly produced a goal as M. Pennisi set up E. Mihai for a strike from a seemingly impossible angle. However he put the shot narrowly wide. Coming from the right, D. Medda almost managed to score another goal for ACTM, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. The ACTM players could smell victory in the air. A. Muhtar wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for M. Epelbaum after 60 minutes. The coach of ACTM was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 60 minutes, C. Orellana came on for E. Nahuel. The Yellow players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. Yellow needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 70 minutes E. Mihai made way for C. Castiglione. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Yellow's A. Giarrizzo was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 70 minutes. G. Minni was given a chance to change things around.
