The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 28917 had shown up at
Beppebeu for the match.

The referee signaled a penalty for the home side after 9 minutes, amid vocal protests from the visitors. Beppe fans erupted in celebration as
A. Neptun rifled the ball into the the top corner. 1 - 0!
Beppe's
A. Neptun struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 2 - 0 after 12 minutes.
After 13 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
G. Primicerio gave the Beppe supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 0.
After 18 minutes,
G. Primicerio put Beppe ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Beppe lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
After 20 minutes Beppe's
A. Neptun contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game.
Beppe put themselves up 5 - 0 when
J. Hertner broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
G. Fusaro of Beppe received a yellow card after 36 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
5 - 0 was the halftime score.
Beppe had most of the ball, with 88 percent of possession.
Beppe increased the lead as
G. Primicerio struck to make the score 6 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
By then
G. Primicerio had scored three goals - a hat trick!
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
R. Ottana from Poggioscalzo a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 48 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Due to a severely mistimed tackle,
M. Tassone of Beppe spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game.
52 minutes into the game, Beppe were awarded a penalty that
A. Neptun turned into 7 - 0 without a problem.
That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for
A. Neptun.
61 minutes in, Beppe's
F. Frattini received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
A. Petrangeli's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Poggioscalzo, he bravely continued in the match.
G. Primicerio increased the lead for Beppe to 8 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
Cheers filled the stadium as
M. Marighetti broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 9 - 0 to Beppe.
Beppe's
M. Marighetti increased the lead to 10 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 70 minutes.
Possession in this half belonged to Beppe, who controlled the ball 88 percent of the time.
Beppe's top performer was clearly
G. Primicerio.
J. Hertner on the other hand, had a terrible day.
M. Santovito performed admirably for Poggioscalzo.
However,
D. Poppolo made a disastrous appearance.
