(381667128)

16-06-2012 12.00
A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 49028 to
Sentenza.
Alexander Kielmayer was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ivo Hempte and
Mathias Ranheim.
Secca had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation.
Lineup: Rebolini - Picchio, Poddubnas, Musmarra - Vestri, Pontremoli, Carbotta, Cassero - Mocci, Drozdek, Cerboneschi.
Schiribizzo tactics involved an interesting 5-4-1 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Lucchesi - De Vitis, Axia, Klemens, Reza, Coperchio - De Calice, Menabue, Bonci, Morroto - Malfitano.
Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Schiribizzo.
Schiribizzo had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 14 minutes, but
P. De Vitis's shot from the left sailed high over the bar.
In a rapid move 26 minutes into the match,
G. Mocci of Secca lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked
T. Drozdek who easily hit it home to make it 1 - 0. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy!
With 32 minutes played,
R. Cerboneschi could have brought this one home for Secca as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
Schiribizzo almost scored after a counterattack 33 minutes into the match, but
T. Menabue took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net.
It was 1 - 0 at the break.
Secca had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.
R. Cerboneschi could have put Secca up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 56 minutes.
Schiribizzo's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 57 minutes gone, but
J. Klemens's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper.
L. Poddubnas enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again.
Schiribizzo's
T. Reza was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 82 minutes.
With 83 minutes played, Secca put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
L. Poddubnas, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
G. Mocci got himself booked. The manager of Secca was not happy.
Schiribizzo managed to reduce the score to 2 - 1 as
S. De Calice finished off a well-played combination from the left, easily carving through the defence.
Schiribizzo needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 89 minutes
M. Malfitano made way for
N. Baggio.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Secca, with 67 percent of the ball.
Secca's best player was
T. Drozdek.
G. Picchio turned in a dismal performance, however.
Schiribizzo's top performer was clearly
J. Klemens.
However,
N. Baggio made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 2 - 1.
