Clear skies welcomed the 37918 spectators who had made their way to Bosco di Capodimonte. IMENDOS had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. The following players had been chosen: Manrique - Markerink, Grabovac, Striderberg - Zuazu, Chiacchella, Bonifaci, Leuzzi - Ejsak, Montaruli, Bezzubov.

LOKOMOTIV were determined to use their long shot ability. LOKOMOTIV were very close to putting themselves one up after 10 minutes as B. Klinglesmith got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. 34 minutes in, IMENDOS's M. Leuzzi received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. 37 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for LOKOMOTIV was A. Hasner. IMENDOS's G. Montaruli was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 38 minutes. P. Karb held up a LOKOMOTIV attack after 40 minutes, waited until L. Schinzel was in shooting position, and then elegantly set him up. L. Schinzel didn't disappoint his team mates, and from a distance he curled the ball with precision to the right of the keeper making it 2 - 0. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. LOKOMOTIV enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

B. Klinglesmith has acquired a talent for predicting the movements of the opposing defence over the years and this almost resulted in a goal 54 minutes into the match. Content with how the game was proceeding, the LOKOMOTIV coach let A. Maran replace O. Collette after 55 minutes. After a short break after 55 minutes, LOKOMOTIV seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. After 61 minutes IMENDOS's C. Chiacchella limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Instead of playing a 50/50 ball into the penalty area, LOKOMOTIV's A. Maran skipped past the marking defender and passed the ball to B. Klinglesmith who finished it off from distance. The keeper could only stand and watch as the hard shot hit the underside of the cross bar, and in to make it 3 - 0 with 67 minutes played. J. Striderberg of IMENDOS was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The score became 4 - 0 at 84 minutes into the game, when LOKOMOTIV were given a penalty which P. Karb blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! Confident in their lead, LOKOMOTIV's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. IMENDOS's J. Ejsak was shown a yellow card after 86 minutes for slicing down an opponent. LOKOMOTIV claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

LOKOMOTIV's top performer was clearly A. Hasner. L. Yangosian turned in a dismal performance, however. K. Bezzubov performed admirably for IMENDOS. I. Grabovac was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
