Canelas proved that he's been around on a football pitch before, when he took advantage of a few moments of confusion in the opposition's defensive line and elegantly scored for 1 - 1. With 36 minutes gone, R. Milanesi suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Granoturco caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. The Granoturco free kick 42 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of R. Milanesi, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 2! 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. FRYZZIES had most of the ball, with 65 percent of possession.

After 48 minutes, the defensive line of Granoturco created a counterattack through the middle that gave A. Coa a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. FRYZZIES's Y. Atlan was shown a yellow card after 65 minutes for slicing down an opponent. G. Selmani of Granoturco had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. S. Balzano came in to finish the match. The heat made it a terrible day for T. Canelas, who seemed unable to keep up with the other players. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Granoturco coach let M. Verhaagen replace R. Milanesi after 77 minutes. Granoturco's counterattacks created a good chance for E. Virtanen on the right after 78 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. FRYZZIES's T. Canelas almost tied things up with 85 minutes played after breaking through on the right, but his shot deflected off the post. Granoturco mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 86 minutes, but M. Giannelli was unable to convert from short range. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by FRYZZIES, with 65 percent of the ball.

The most dominating FRYZZIES player was without a doubt J. Jubero. R. Hollanda was a disappointment, however. Most important Granoturco player was O. Bertaccini. S. Balzano turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 2.
