With 22 minutes played, O. Shihrur of Burca fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 26 minutes allowed M. Pylväinen to score for Burca. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. After 34 minutes, Burca's L. Rutnberg swiftly ran past C. Spreafico and nutmegged the keeper! 0 - 2. The players of Burca now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. With 36 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed O. Shihrur of Burca to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3. F. Bocola neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to M. Melliger who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. After 38 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave G. Morgia a chance to increase the lead for Burca, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. Diagonal had to make a substitution after 39 minutes. T. Arcella limped off the field and was replaced by E. Mazziotta. E. Sadiku got a fingertip on F. Bocola's shot from the left 40 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Burca, with 86 percent of the ball.

With 50 minutes played, M. Melliger nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave D. Giuradei from Burca a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 54 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! F. Tamburrini was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Diagonal's S. Travanti had to come off the bench. G. Morgia came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over E. Sadiku but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, C. Spreafico got himself booked. The manager of Diagonal was not happy. 70 minutes in, Diagonal's D. Tărăcilă received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Some fine movement on the left led to a Burca goal after 74 minutes, making it 0 - 5. M. Rodríguez was noted down as the scorer. 77 minutes into the game, Burca worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. After 79 minutes, Burca's O. Shihrur burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6. Possession in this half belonged to Burca, who controlled the ball 89 percent of the time.

Most important Diagonal player was E. Mazziotta. However, E. Sadiku made a disastrous appearance. Burca's best player was M. Rodríguez. M. Pylväinen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 6.
