The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to G. Lucioni
, but the Codroipo player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0!
With 17 minutes played, P. Caccuri
could have brought this one home for Codroipo as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
Codroipo managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when P. Caccuri
cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
Sirius reduced the deficit to 2 - 1 with a penalty placed perfectly beside the left post by V. Corona
sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from V. Corona

After 39 minutes, Sirius's L. Hyllested
made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 2 - 3.

Codroipo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.
With 46 minutes played, the Codroipo coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. P. Duwald
came on, M. Bozlak
had to leave the fray.

evened things up for Codroipo with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 3 - 3.
A mistake by the home side's central defence after 64 minutes allowed A. Rønning
to score for Sirius. The scoreboard now read 3 - 4.
Codroipo's G. Lucioni
made an attempt at equalising 68 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound.
69 minutes in, and Codroipo were able to score the equalising goal to make it 4 - 4 when R. Škubal
picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper.
As the 70 minute mark approached, the Sirius coach decided it was time for a substitution. F. Speel
reluctantly made way for R. Brücklmeier
on the pitch.
Sirius's A. Rønning
gave the visitors a 4 - 5 lead after 72 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, M. Taiola
got himself booked. The manager of Sirius was not happy.
84 minutes into the match, Codroipo's R. Škubal
maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 5 - 5.
By then R. Škubal
had scored three goals - a hat trick!
