Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 36194 to Davidoff soccer Carlo Gasparini stadium. Paolucci came in from the right with the intention of giving DSMeT the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. 53 minutes into the game, N. Alberzoni finished off a AxisDeath left wing counterattack, making the score 0 - 1. DSMeT needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 60 minutes E. Mayberry made way for E. Freiherr Spiegel von und zu Peckelsheim. H. Schweßinger was the new captain of DSMeT - handed the armband by the departing player. AxisDeath's S. Sicolo got himself booked for a foul. DSMeT's O. Paolucci made a successful breakthrough on the left after 64 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar. K. Skoupý showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 66 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 1 - 1 equaliser away. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by DSMeT, with 64 percent of the ball.

DSMeT's top performer was clearly F. Mottola. On the other hand, J. Niedrist's play was disheartening. Most important AxisDeath player was A. Fava. However, G. Alberga made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 1.
