Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Mogui Park saw a crowd turnout of 35778. Robert Vereker was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Harmen Kok and Luca Presutti. MFC saw most attack opportunities on the wings. After 4 minutes, Gine4Ever's J. Lauersen made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. The referee showed Gine4Ever's P. Breding the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. J. Lauersen came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over P. Notarangelo but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. 36 minutes into the game, G. Bahr came close to levelling the score with a dangerous shot from the centre of the area that went just over the bar. 37 minutes in, and MFC were able to score the equalising goal to make it 1 - 1 when B. Krasowski picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper. O. Preclík hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving MFC's G. Bahr an easy chance to knock it in for 2 - 1. B. Krasowski's curling free kick almost found the goal for MFC, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 42 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but P. Notarangelo got the best of it, blocking the shot from Y. Onikul. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. Gine4Ever enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

MFC had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. G. Armati of Gine4Ever was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish P. Hofböck, which resulted in a goal making the score 2 - 2. The guests almost went up by a goal after 74 minutes when P. Breding came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. MFC's A. Pouvreau was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 76 minutes. MFC could have put themselves ahead after 79 minutes but P. Hofböck missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. Gine4Ever's J. Lauersen gave the visitors a 2 - 3 lead after 85 minutes with a superb strike from the right. Possession in this half belonged to Gine4Ever, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

MFC's top performer was clearly B. Krasowski. P. Hofböck turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Gine4Ever player was without a doubt T. Siokos. C. Pirangi was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 3.
