Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 21407 at Triple Inside 1967 Stadium today. Ferruccio Diamanti was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Arnaud Crochemore and Sílvio Rodrigues da Guarda. Triple started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Emet cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Kasteddu. Triple's S. Neruda was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 30 minutes. R. Kantokoski made a superb strike after 31 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. After 39 minutes, G. Machado made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 1 - 1. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Triple, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

G. Machado caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 56 minutes. This gave Triple the 2 - 1 lead. B. Auinger had a fantastic opportunity to put Triple up another goal 67 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. With 72 minutes played, Triple put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to B. Auinger, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. T. Krajnc made a brilliant save 77 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from O. Rusek on the right hand side. Triple enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

Most important Triple player was B. Auinger. However, F. Santini made a disastrous appearance. Kasteddu's best player was Z. Gkazidis. R. De Mey on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 1.
