Hirl was not taken care of properly. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, J. Etokari got himself booked. The manager of CONA was not happy. With the clock showing 41 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of CONA resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by G. Pitera in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. After 44 minutes, a deliberate handball from CONA's J. Etokari was judged to be his second bookable offence, and he was sent off. Halftime score was 1 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Disgrazia, who controlled the ball 66 percent of the time.

The crowd was silenced 50 minutes into the match as the visiting team's G. Cecchi came in from the left, levelling the score to 1 - 1. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Disgrazia's K. Urut after 51 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 1 - 2 lead. G.
