Clear skies welcomed the 32011 spectators who had made their way to
Caulera.
Fernando Cataldo was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Antoni Nombela and
Christian Giannis.
Padania had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.

A drive down the left side allowed
N. Ventura to get in close and score another goal for Torino after 17 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Torino lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
A. Mezzalira's fine footwork caused nothing but headaches for
L. Condorelli. The keeper wasn't fooled however, and confidently scooped up the ball.
With the scoreboard showing that 20 minutes had been played, Torino nearly put themselves up another goal after
P. Sbandi came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save.
Padania had to make a substitution after 31 minutes.
E. Taverna limped off the field and was replaced by
S. Fava.
Padania supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to
M. Lala who reduced the visitors' lead after 33 minutes to 1 - 2.

S. Cacaglione to make the score 1 - 3.
58 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 4 as
G. De Gregorio finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
N. Ventura from Torino a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 65 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
The crowd groaned when
F. Spiti, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for Padania.
L. Condorelli wanted to play on, but the Torino coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 80 minutes into the game by
M. Veneziano.
After 80 minutes, Padania switched
A. Mezzalira with
C. Maiorca, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
Padania enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.
Most important Padania player was
M. Matassa.
However,
S. Fava made a disastrous appearance.
Torino's best player was
S. Piasenzotto.
R. Olivi turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 1 - 4.
