senta seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. The incalculable M. Deoniziak of AAB! did everything right as he set up M. Krstajić for a goal after 4 minutes. Unfortunately, the strike missed its target. 9 minutes into the game, R. Reemer almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. senta took the lead 26 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. F. Mingot was the scorer. The AAB! players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. The AAB! coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. The referee showed senta's T. Spernol the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. E. Fassari made a superb strike after 28 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. Halftime score was 0 - 1. senta had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

After 54 minutes, AAB!'s M. Deoniziak surprised everyone as he managed to intercept a pass intended for the opposing keeper and flip it in, making the score 1 - 1. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 71 minutes allowed T. Bendig to score for senta. The scoreboard now read 1 - 2. senta had to make a substitution after 75 minutes. F. Dellagiacoma limped off the field and was replaced by T. Żubr. J. Soler was the new captain of senta - handed the armband by the departing player. AAB! tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. 82 minutes in, and AAB! were able to score the equalising goal to make it 2 - 2 when M. Deoniziak picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for senta, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. E. Fassari caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 85 minutes. This gave AAB! the 3 - 2 lead. The AAB! coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 85 minutes into the game. After 85 minutes, the AAB! players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game. After a short break after 85 minutes, AAB! seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. After 86 minutes, M. Deoniziak put AAB! ahead 4 - 2 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for M. Deoniziak. AAB! claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

AAB!'s best player was E. Fassari. R. Fridrich turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important senta player was H. Sherrod. A. Fiesoli was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 2.
