Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 28200 to Hell Arena. Stefan Hansson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Julius Yli-Karjula and Martti Juusela. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, E. Di Lisi scored for Scandaglia putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 18 minutes. Scandaglia's X. Kruiter swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. The score became 2 - 0 at 29 minutes into the game, when Scandaglia were given a penalty which X. Kruiter blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! Things were deteriorating for the away team as Scandaglia scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for B. Burli after 30 minutes. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Scandaglia had most of the ball, with 90 percent of possession.

The Scandaglia players could smell victory in the air. X. Kruiter wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for J. van de Voorde after 47 minutes. Scandaglia managed to extend their lead to 4 - 0 when R. Hansson cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Scandaglia lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 82 minutes in, SCHIACCIASASSI's G. Condorelli received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. E. Di Lisi squirmed through their central defence after 89 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as S. Kannabel broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 0 to Scandaglia. Scandaglia's Z. Radovanović saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 89 minutes. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Scandaglia, with 92 percent of the ball.

J. van de Voorde performed admirably for Scandaglia. B. Burli was a disappointment, however. SCHIACCIASASSI's best player was R. Clementelli. On the other hand, N. Lertora's play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 0.
