The ZIZZOLA fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. 30 minutes into the match, the speedy C. Həsənov easily outpaced S. Wajde, chipped the keeper and made the score 0 - 3. Coccinella's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 31 minutes into the match as L. Leeters ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 1 - 3. 34 minutes into the match, Coccinella's C. Oppenrieder collected a ball sent down the right and put it in the back of the net, narrowing the score to 2 - 3. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ZIZZOLA, with 51 percent of the ball.

R. Cortés charged down the left and had a wonderful opportunity to score the equaliser for Coccinella, but the shot went well wide of the goal. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave S. Wajde from Coccinella a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 56 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! R. Cortés made a superb strike after 65 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. The bench was restless, and with 71 minutes passed Coccinella's coach gave E. Roccatagliata the opportunity the player had been hoping for. V. Dénesi reluctantly left the field. ZIZZOLA had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

Coccinella's best player was W. Vogler. G. Lisanti turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important ZIZZOLA player was M. Załuski. However, S. Forni made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 3.
