Liponi received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. 10 minutes into the game, A. Liponi came close to levelling the score with a dangerous shot from the centre of the area that went just over the bar. A quick counter attack by Ohtizity forced the opponent's defender to give away a freekick. T. Paritario was allowed to take it quickly by the referee, much to the dismay of the goalkeeper who wasn't prepared. 0 - 2! At this point, it was obvious that the players of Ohtizity lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The home crowd cheered when, after 23 minutes, C. Monte's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After 30 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Ohtizity was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. Ohtizity's E. Medeot had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 35 minutes having been played. V. Flinkman was the replacement. 0 - 2 was the halftime score. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

The visitors' A. Franza took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 50 minutes into the match. 0 - 3 for Ohtizity. A. Stieglbauer of Ohtizity received a yellow card after 55 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With a penalty awarded after 57 minutes, Bizona's D. Giorgio placed the ball low and to the keeper's right, impossible to block. 1 - 3. P. Lindner was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. With the scoreboard showing that 78 minutes had been played, Ohtizity nearly put themselves up another goal after C. Monte came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 87 minutes, Bizona did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, B. Grymonpre was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 3. Ohtizity had to make a substitution after 87 minutes. A. Franza limped off the field and was replaced by F. Bergantin. M. Bettini received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 88 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 2 - 4. The Ohtizity fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Bizona had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Most important Bizona player was B. Grymonpre. H. Haedrich on the other hand, had a terrible day. C. Monte performed admirably for Ohtizity. V. Flinkman was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 4.
