A lovely run by Luso's G. Ceriello left his markers for dead and should have resulted in a goal, but the finish went just wide. 2 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

The coach of LeShawnMerritt was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, R. Piekałkiewicz came on for D. Melo Souza. Luso needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 65 minutes F. Sahb made way for A. Orenström. After 75 minutes, Luso switched S. Celani with L. Sordo, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, J. Subijana took over the role of being the Luso captain. A well placed corner kick from J. Subijana was followed by A. Arcunti's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Luso, the score now 2 - 2. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Luso coach decided it was time for a substitution. V. Berko reluctantly made way for D. Bugo on the pitch. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.
