The crowd of 24382 turning up at La casa dei picciotti today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Xhikneli, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 2 - 2. REAL's D. Amici gave the visitors a 2 - 3 lead after 25 minutes with a superb strike from the right. 2 - 3 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to REAL, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

The visitors' B. Xhikneli took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 50 minutes into the match. 2 - 4 for REAL. M. Favero was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! Just a few inches to the right, and the visitors could have had a goal 72 minutes into the match. R. Leht surely wishes he could do that free kick over again. K. Braham did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. REAL claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

The most dominating Kannawa player was without a doubt F. Malentacchi. However, P. Ericsson made a disastrous appearance. R. Leht performed admirably for REAL. A. Pereira on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 4.
