Street 0 - 3 Zamor (381733438)

Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 24467 at La FOSSA della CIANCIA today. Clemens Megede was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Thomas Beck and Benoît Sauber. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Street. Lineup: Manrique - Triani, Ciotti, Scognamiglio, Limachi - Primicerio, Nivellini, Buson, Romaggioli - Bielmann, Willibacher.

Zamor tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. The following players took the field: Varas - Viotti, Duré - Mazepa, Urft, Bruno, Majuri, Züttel - Maestre, Gülce, Centonchio.

Zamor mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. 13 minutes into the game, a swerving free kick by M. Limachi almost resulted in the home team taking the lead, but the shot glanced harmlessly off the frame of the goal. 0 - 1 was the score with 22 minutes played, after H. Gülce cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Zamor. The visitors almost increased their lead after 26 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Zamor, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

After 50 minutes, Street used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach. After 55 minutes, Zamor's K. Züttel burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. 80 minutes into the game, Street seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. After the ball was lifted in from the left, J. Maestre was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 81 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. P. Duré of Zamor took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 84 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. Confident in their lead, Zamor's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Zamor, with 53 percent of the ball.

M. Bielmann performed admirably for Street. B. Romaggioli on the other hand, had a terrible day. Zamor's top performer was clearly A. Centonchio. V. Mazepa turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
