Due to an all-day shower, 18416 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at La tana del drago. After a fine move down the middle A. Lento nearly gave the home side a goal after 14 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. D. Negru had a good opportunity to give montegrillo the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. 28 minutes into the game, S. Cammareri had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. After 37 minutes, A. Tumiatti came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Banzai the lead. An equalising goal was close at hand, but S. Poltera clipped a free kick just wide of the goal. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. montegrillo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

A great save by keeper M. Gutiérrez after 49 minutes kept the visitors in the game after M. Del Borrello struck from the left with a real cannonball. B. Dusiński finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 58 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, the montegrillo manager wanted to try a new tactic, and the players loyally obliged. Toy but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Banzai's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 85 minutes gone, but R. Majstorović's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. Possession in this half belonged to montegrillo, who controlled the ball 65 percent of the time.

Banzai's best player was A. Tumiatti. However, M. González made a disastrous appearance. montegrillo's top performer was clearly M. De Grandi. S. Cammareri was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 3.
