After some beautiful movement down the left wing, M. Nurmiranta scored for Fiorentina putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 17 minutes. After 26 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after A. Mavrinskiy made it through the middle and struck home to make it 1 - 1. Thighs bulging, O. Chuvachenko charged past the weaker players, seemingly oblivious to the rain. Fiorentina made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left F. Casserres completely alone with keeper R. Matri, who made a spectacular block. After this, you could see that the players of Fiorentina were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Halftime score was 3 - 1. Fiorentina enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

F. Casserres spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. 65 minutes into the game, Fiorentina were awarded a penalty that F. Casserres turned into 4 - 1 without a problem. Monkytrix's A. Mavrinskiy left the field after 75 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was V. Spampanato. Fiorentina's F. Casserres swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. Cheers filled the stadium as A. Villavicencio broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 1 to Fiorentina. 83 minutes into the match, Fiorentina's F. Casserres demonstrated his famed speed as he raced past his marker and passed the ball to O. Chuvachenko who chipped it in for 6 - 1. After 85 minutes, following yet another great corner, H. Althammer's flick on at the near post reached M. Rissoson, who was just wide with his snapshot - the ball went out for a goal kick. H. Althammer increased the lead for Fiorentina to 7 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Possession in this half belonged to Fiorentina, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

Most important Fiorentina player was O. Chuvachenko. M. Jacquat turned in a dismal performance, however. C. Ketaren performed admirably for Monkytrix. However, V. Spampanato made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 7 - 1.
