Panormina clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. Panormina players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Cassia refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 20 minutes. After 21 minutes of play, R. Brentjes evened things up for Drunks with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 1 - 1. Panormina had a magnificent opportunity after 24 minutes as D. Crescenzi hit the ball hard from the edge of the penalty box. However, the shot went wide. Drunks's R. Brentjes tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 32 minutes into the match, Panormina nearly took the lead, as V. Cassia broke through on the right. L. Vila made the save, however. In a rapid move 34 minutes into the match, E. Gaspar of Drunks lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked A. Rumbaut who easily hit it home to make it 2 - 1. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! 35 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as G. Brun broke through, making the score 3 - 1 for Drunks. Panormina reduced the deficit to 3 - 2 with a penalty placed perfectly beside the left post by D. Lo Cascio. After 42 minutes, Drunks's E. Gaspar fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! The home side's A. Rumbaut came close to extending the lead 43 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but A. Patti managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. Halftime score was 3 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Drunks, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

V. Cassia came close to levelling the score 51 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. The visitors didn't give in and, after 54 minutes, B. Papp got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 3 - 3. Drunks could have put themselves ahead after 59 minutes but O. Hical missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. After 60 minutes, G. Brun came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 4 - 3, giving Drunks the lead. Drunks increased the lead as O. Håkansson struck to make the score 5 - 3 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Drunks had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

Most important Drunks player was O. Håkansson. S. Braunholtz on the other hand, had a terrible day. T. Arghittu performed admirably for Panormina. However, S. Proost made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 3.
