(381749361)

21-07-2012 12.00
The 31380 spectators at
Stadio di Smerdam were in for an afternoon of sunshine.
Linus Ulmi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Marco Stehr and
Fabien Panetier.
NaKa had chosen a strategic 5-3-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Tironi - Gusman, Mifsud Triganza, Ignatius, Pisani, Sacco - Giovinazzo, Venier, Ureta - Caldarulo, Castellani.
A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Bebbe.
The following players had been chosen: Gupta - Gambirasio, Holskog, Szabó - Drobna, Nobs, Sale, Osejo - Rio Reyero, Mirchev, Seipiharju.
Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for NaKa.
After 6 minutes, Bebbe's
S. Drobna made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1.
The crowd roared in delight as
S. Sacco finished off a spectacular series of passes through the middle to even the score for NaKa 15 minutes into the match. 1 - 1.
L. Caldarulo was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from NaKa's defence 31 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 2 - 1.
With 35 minutes played, NaKa put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
L. Caldarulo, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 1.
Possession in this half belonged to Bebbe, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.
NaKa managed to extend their lead to 4 - 1 when
F. Pisani cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
E. Castellani didn't pace himself at all, and after a series of daring offensive runs he was too tired to help out in the defensive play.
The goal to make it 5 - 1 was scored by
V. Ureta after 75 minutes, following an opportunistic counterattack down the middle by NaKa.
Confident in their lead, NaKa's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in NaKa's
F. Mifsud Triganza increasing the lead to 6 - 1.
The heat made it a terrible day for
G. Mirchev, who seemed unable to keep up with the other players.
NaKa's
S. Venier got himself booked for a foul.
Bebbe enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.
NaKa's top performer was clearly
P. Ignatius.
However,
V. Ureta made a disastrous appearance.
E. Rio Reyero performed admirably for Bebbe.
N. Gupta turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 6 - 1.
