A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 36605 to club70 f.c. Arena. L. De Martini Lucchini knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 0 - 1 after 13 minutes. With 16 minutes played, Prata put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was S. Fileris. In an effort to secure the lead, Prata changed their tactic after 16 minutes. The home side worked their way through the middle and almost got one back when A. Zonarelli tried to sneak the ball past the keeper. M. Venturina was too alert for that! Had it not been for one of the home defenders, C. Depasquale would have put Prata up another goal 37 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. 38 minutes into the match, club70's M. Dettori collected a ball sent down the right and put it in the back of the net, narrowing the score to 1 - 2. A crazy pass by B. Vaccelli towards his own keeper almost caused a goal for Prata, but L. De Martini Lucchini didn't get the finish right. 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

L. De Martini Lucchini wanted to play on, but the Prata coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by E. Büchel. The Prata captaincy was handed to E. Büchel. club70 tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why S. Fileris found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. With 64 minutes played, P. Della Giovanna of club70 fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. A. Vittadini increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 3. By now, the players in Prata felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

club70's top performer was clearly E. Pitzalis. V. Jacomuzzi turned in a dismal performance, however. S. Fileris performed admirably for Prata. E. Büchel was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
