Cerdeño ought to have been awarded a penalty 37 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around H. Piessnegger after a determined run through the middle. A. Woelfl could have put Santarrosalia into the lead after 41 minutes, but the free kick went just wide. Prati took the lead 42 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. A. Deprez was the scorer. A. Woelfl, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 44 minutes played, P. Petaros of Santarrosalia made the score 1 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Santarrosalia enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Possession in this half belonged to Santarrosalia, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.
