Prati 2 - 1 Blacks
(381772677)

18-08-2012 12.30
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 23448 to
Real Prati Arena.
Alberto Avallone was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Roderik Heersema and
Tue Provst.
Prati started off with a 2-5-3 lineup.
They fielded: Piessnegger - Vanham, Tzohar - Hausten, Perron, Zarco Punteros, Karl, Deprez - Hart Nibbrig, Pinto, Gounidis.
Blacks tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
Starters: Gervasoni - Rojewski, Arapi, Asperti, Tannoia - Van Mulders, Molini, Raeymaekers, Sanç - Schönborn, Bollini.
For their match strategy, Prati had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible.
They were singing the praises of
J. Hausten 6 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Prati.
D. Singh was called on to replace Prati's
C. Perron after 25 minutes following a nasty collision.
The crowd was silenced 33 minutes into the match as the visiting team's
A. Arapi came in from the left, levelling the score to 1 - 1.
1 - 1 was the score after the first half.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Blacks, with 57 percent of the ball.
Blacks almost scored after a swift counterattack 76 minutes into the game, but
S. Bollini put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal.
Prati created a good opportunity to score 80 minutes into the match when
F. Pinto's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball.
Prati took the lead 81 minutes into the game by 2 - 1, as
L. Vanham elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar.
The referee showed Blacks's
E. Molini the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
H. Piessnegger's name was chanted throughout the stadium after he made a fantastic save from
H. Schönborn's shot from the left 87 minutes into the match.
With 88 minutes played,
W. Hart Nibbrig could have brought this one home for Prati as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
Blacks claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.
W. Hart Nibbrig performed admirably for Prati.
However,
A. Deprez made a disastrous appearance.
The most dominating Blacks player was without a doubt
A. Arapi.
E. Asperti turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 2 - 1.
