Manegoldo took the lead after 20 minutes as a result of T. Brusa's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. After 22 minutes, A. Vītols put Manegoldo ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. What ever got into C. Montoro, the crowd mumbled, as he suddenly struck a cross pass through his own defence - ending up right in front of Manegoldo's A. Vītols, who easily put the ball away for 3 - 0 after 25 minutes. After this, you could see that the players of Manegoldo were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Didascalici kept trying to force their way through on the right side and S. Tardin got his chance after 26 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack. With 35 minutes played, A. Zambruno could have brought this one home for Manegoldo as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Didascalici were desperate to get a goal back and pushed forward through the middle 42 minutes into the game. After a scramble in the box, the ball dropped to C. Diaz, who smashed it home to make the score 3 - 1. Manegoldo's O. Üçgül struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 4 - 1 after 43 minutes. 4 - 1 was the halftime score. Manegoldo had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Didascalici's E. Brambati was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. G. Minopoli was given a chance to change things around. Thighs bulging, G. Minopoli charged past the weaker players, seemingly oblivious to the rain. Manegoldo's A. Zambruno saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 59 minutes. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Manegoldo scored another to make it 5 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for M. Calzador after 68 minutes. After 75 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by T. Brusa might have resulted in another goal for Manegoldo. However, N. Khawalani made a spectacular save. Cheers filled the stadium as M. Monforte broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 1 to Manegoldo. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Manegoldo coach let S. Bagnato replace A. Vītols after 79 minutes. E. Pietrogrande wanted to play on, but the Manegoldo coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 84 minutes into the game by T. Aletti. Manegoldo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

The most dominating Manegoldo player was without a doubt A. Zambruno. On the other hand, B. Dziki's play was disheartening. Didascalici's top performer was clearly N. Caprotti. N. Khawalani turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 6 - 1.
