Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 27228 to Vis Roboris Arena. Melle Jager was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Sílvio Coelho and Georgy Belikov. Roboris tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Starters: Tenti - Medoro, Baglioni, Carbonaro - D'Alessandro, Castello, Banana, Castellano, Bua - Meneghello Pisi, Catalucci.

Roboris used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. Capitone clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. With clinical precision, the cross from winger V. D'Alessandro found its way to A. Catalucci's head, and a screaming header gave Roboris the goal after 15 minutes played. 1 - 0 P. Galimberti tied the game at 1 - 1 after 16 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. The visiting P. Samson was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 32 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 1 - 2 was the score. With 34 minutes played, M. Illovszky nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. V. D'Alessandro's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 41 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to P. Meneghello Pisi who knocked it in for Roboris. 2 - 2! 42 minutes into the game, P. Samson almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 2 - 2 was the score after the first half. Roboris claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

P. Meneghello Pisi caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 47 minutes. This gave Roboris the 3 - 2 lead. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Capitone, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. M. Castello stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Roboris the goal to make it 4 - 2. 74 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as P. Meneghello Pisi broke through, making the score 5 - 2 for Roboris. This third goal completed a hattrick for P. Meneghello Pisi. Roboris's opponents know to be wary of V. D'Alessandro's speed, but it made little difference as he flew past the defence 75 minutes into the game. Only the keeper could stop him - and he did with a perfectly timed dive! The coach of Roboris was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 79 minutes, P. Brasini came on for V. D'Alessandro. A. Catalucci left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. D. Nobile was the replacement. Roboris were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. Roboris solidified their lead at the 83 minute mark, as D. Nobile dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 6 - 2. Roboris had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

Roboris's top performer was clearly P. Meneghello Pisi. On the other hand, E. Tenti's play was disheartening. The most dominating Capitone player was without a doubt E. Sääkslahti. D. Balzaretti on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 2.
