After 57 minutes, V. Šeškauskis made a complete fool of himself when he presented the ball to the feet of A. La Rana who smashed it into the open goal for fidelis. 2 - 1. Cruzeiro solidified their lead at the 58 minute mark, as A. Marfuggi dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 1. 63 minutes in, an amazing pass from the left side resulted in a goal for the visitors, as T. Konzilia anticipated the through ball and scored, reducing the deficit to 3 - 2. After 73 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after A. La Rana made it through the middle and struck home to make it 3 - 3. fidelis took the lead after 77 minutes making the score 3 - 4. H. Dyrcz placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. After 80 minutes, E. Strazdiņš made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 4 - 4. Possession in this half belonged to Cruzeiro, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

Cruzeiro's top performer was clearly A. Marfuggi. C. De Meo was a disappointment, however. Z. Çadırcı performed admirably for fidelis. However, M. Drushinin made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 4.
