The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 29995 had shown up at P.K. Team Arena for the match. Elliot Josefsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Tomas Larsson and Maurycy Krajewski. P.K. decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. P.K.'s S. Rendo tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. L. Aeberli caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 26 minutes. This gave P.K. the 1 - 0 lead. After 34 minutes, P.K. were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. G. Ventura did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. It was 1 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to P.K., who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as Eiah's A. Copas put the ball in the onion bag after 52 minutes to make it 1 - 1. After 57 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to P.K.'s M. Orfei being carried off the pitch and replaced by M. Bombi. Many thought G. Pizarro ought to have been awarded a penalty 66 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around D. de Abreu after a determined run through the middle. P.K. claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

Most important P.K. player was S. Rendo. On the other hand, M. Iamele's play was disheartening. Eiah's best player was S. Di Rosa. D. de Abreu was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
