Confident in their lead, Salsasio's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. B. Pérez was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Salsasio's E. Nõmmeots managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 4 - 0 Salsasio put themselves up 5 - 0 when R. Zapychaj broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Salsasio's G. Polesello had an excellent opportunity after 41 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! Halftime score was 5 - 0. Lupica struck to make the score 6 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Salsasio's S. Senoba increasing the lead to 7 - 0. With 65 minutes played, Salsasio put themselves up 8 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to R. Lanci, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. J. Richard of xxx displayed some of his fantastic technical abilities when he brought the ball down neatly using his instep before nutmegging the bewildered R. Lanci and smashing an unstoppable shot past the goalkeeper to make it 8 - 1. 70 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as R. Lanci broke through, making the score 9 - 1 for Salsasio. After 73 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and E. Nõmmeots gave the Salsasio supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 10 - 1. This third goal completed a hattrick for E. Nõmmeots. After 76 minutes, xxx switched R. Sakaridis with B. Breepoel, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. With 83 minutes played, the xxx coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. M. Soprano came on, A.
