The crowd chanted their encouragement as SquadraMaterasso's A. Boisio came in from the right after 32 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 2 - 2. The guests took the lead 35 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in M. Vartiainen scoring to make it 2 - 3. SquadraMaterasso's A. Boisio made an attempt at equalising 36 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. 2 - 3 was the halftime score. SquadraMaterasso claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

With 48 minutes having been played, SquadraMaterasso scored to make it 3 - 3. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but I. Cloo was marked down as the scorer. As the 55 minute mark approached, the SquadraMaterasso coach decided it was time for a substitution. M. Pinzón reluctantly made way for R. Taevere on the pitch. Down the middle came D. Mudroch, making a fantastic play that nearly had Bellator take the lead after 59 minutes, but 黄. 智国 (Zhiguo) preserved the tie. The terraces were silenced after 67 minutes when Bellator's S. Charoenporn put the guests ahead 3 - 4, following an attack on the right.
