R. Frisone had a fantastic opportunity to put Vuitton up another goal 51 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. With 52 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Chiappon resulted in a counterattack that set J. Kaster free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. Vuitton's S. Dotan had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 56 minutes having been played. M. Sechi was the replacement. Vuitton's L. Pint was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 68 minutes. The corner kick from B. Blomgreen was powerfully met by the head of G.
