Dark skies made the crowd of 31124 at cribrigiu star trek a little nervous, but the rain held off. Gonfie used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to C. Maioli, but the imbattuto player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! V. Ruiz de Zarzosa tied the game at 1 - 1 after 5 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. 1 - 2 was the score with 33 minutes played, after V. Ruiz de Zarzosa cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Gonfie. imbattuto tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. Gonfie's V. Ruiz de Zarzosa made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 40 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. imbattuto claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for imbattuto, but D. Przybyła's shot went over the bar. The visitors' Š. Ťoupal took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 49 minutes into the match. 1 - 3 for Gonfie. A marvellous imbattuto effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 61 minutes by B. Willach, making the score 2 - 3. imbattuto's C. Maioli was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - A. Valmassoi managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 3 - 3 after 69 minutes. 70 minutes into the game, Gonfie wanted to bring some new energy to their game. R. Barreira gave O. Sazama a quick hug as he left the field. R. Slippens would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. T. Noferi entered the game for Gonfie as the match clock showed 75 minutes. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

imbattuto's top performer was clearly A. Valmassoi. C. Maioli on the other hand, had a terrible day. Gonfie's best player was F. Rizzo. However, F. Fussthaler made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 3.
