12133 fans braved the pouring rain at Manduria Arena. Javier Jesús Carrera was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Patrick Bordier and Norbert Kircheisen. The wings were the focus of most of ManduriaFC's attacks today. karioka saw most attack opportunities on the wings. ManduriaFC's S. Bouvier was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 26 minutes. karioka took the lead 28 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. M. Teubel was the scorer. H. Villamarín increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. karioka enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

With 64 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed M. Teubel of karioka to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3. After 71 minutes, M. Mellinghoff sent the corner kick right to M. Teubel who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 4! That made three goals for M. Teubel and he was marked down for the hat trick. At this point, it was obvious that the players of karioka lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. R. Równiak spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. A marvellous ManduriaFC effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 76 minutes by M. Polecki, making the score 1 - 4. The karioka players could smell victory in the air. S. Tomić wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for F. Lagnel after 80 minutes. Content with how the game was proceeding, the karioka coach let A. Arcellotti replace H. Villamarín after 80 minutes. 80 minutes into the match ManduriaFC's H. Ericsson viciously shoved another player from behind while going for a loose ball and was sent off the pitch with a red card. ManduriaFC were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. ManduriaFC's M. Polecki found himself alone on the left side 83 minutes into the match and laid down a perfect shot - right into the arms of the keeper! Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 85 minutes, karioka did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, M. Teubel was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 5. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Cocivera from karioka a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 86 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! ManduriaFC's D. Eilat went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. Possession in this half belonged to karioka, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

S. Bouvier performed admirably for ManduriaFC. R. Równiak turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating karioka player was without a doubt A. Luna. On the other hand, M. Cocivera's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 5.
