Dream 2 - 0 D-Generation
(381836014)

28-07-2012 12.20
It had rained all day, but 14479 hardy fans still made it out to
Topa Stadium.
Aleksandar Maksic was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Zacharias Fillias and
André Bendixen.
Dream tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Starters: Mosto - Suwak, van Silfhout, Wuijster - Sarpkoç, Dal, Vartti, de Kruijff, Muikkula - Tinham, Nemvalts.
D-Generation had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Michas - Văn An, Scerra, Danis - Hoornik, Barbosa, Quintana, Sinulaki, Mulas - Cilaurren, Kuusisto.
Some things can only be learned through experience, and
I. Sinulaki should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Dream a goal with 32 minutes of the match played.
Making his way up the middle 33 minutes into the match,
P. Nemvalts almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
F. Michas blocked it to keep the score level.
G. Wuijster slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today.
V. Muikkula gave Dream the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0
The home side's
M. Vartti came close to extending the lead 41 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but
F. Michas managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop.
1 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Dream, with 63 percent of the ball.
Dream's
M. Vartti saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 60 minutes.
After 75 minutes, D-Generation switched
J. Kuusisto with
A. Stockman, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like
P. Nemvalts.
Dream's
P. Nemvalts increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 81 minutes.
V. Muikkula of Dream received a yellow card after 84 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Dream had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.
G. Wuijster performed admirably for Dream.
Z. Mosto turned in a dismal performance, however.
D-Generation's top performer was clearly
A. Stockman.
On the other hand,
F. Michas's play was disheartening.
The match ends 2 - 0.
