With 57 minutes played, Ponsacco's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to F. Paoni he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 1. M. Kriskó was, after 68 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper J. Saarenketo made the save. Having turned the direction of play quickly, the Ponsacco counter attack ended as the ball carrier was brought down violently by a defender after 75 minutes. The resulting free kick was a flat shot into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and did not allow the opponents to reach the ball. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Ponsacco, with 54 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Muggio player was without a doubt C. Riedl. On the other hand, J. Saarenketo's play was disheartening. F. Paoni performed admirably for Ponsacco. M. Kriskó turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 1.
