previous 10/10 next 2/10  Uauotti 3 - 1 Mutandoni (381838583)

A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 19524 to stamford uauo. Bjørn Sætren was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jeffrey Lautscham and Menéndez Rangel. Uauotti tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Berber - Beunckens, Brandl, Bogado - Padula, Larsen, Mineiro, Söderby, Bartolomeo - Dighero, Andracchio.

Mutandoni had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Starters: Tanzarella - Pollo, Clevenhaus, Bracamontes - Gladkauskas, Weinhandl, Petrov, Faasch, Schaessens - Hupperts, Arango.

Uauotti tried to focus their attacks down the middle. After 16 minutes, following yet another great corner, V. Brandl's flick on at the near post reached F. Padula, who was just wide with his snapshot - the ball went out for a goal kick. The guests took the lead 22 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in V. Pollo scoring to make it 0 - 1. Uauotti players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. The crowd roared in delight as S. Dighero finished off a spectacular series of passes through the middle to even the score for Uauotti 26 minutes into the match. 1 - 1. The goal for 2 - 1 was a funny story: after 27 minutes the seemingly nonchalant lob from Uauotti's M. Bartolomeo landed at the feet of S. Dighero who sidefooted it into the net - nice goal! Uauotti's S. Dighero had an excellent opportunity after 32 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! Coming from the right, A. Mineiro almost managed to score another goal for Uauotti, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Uauotti, with 53 percent of the ball.

M. Andracchio left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 70 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. A. Pallone was the replacement. With 75 minutes played, Uauotti's W. Bogado almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. T. Beunckens had a fantastic opportunity to put Uauotti up another goal 76 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Uauotti put themselves up 3 - 1 when W. Bogado broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Uauotti had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

The most dominating Uauotti player was without a doubt Ø. Larsen. F. Padula turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Mutandoni player was V. Arango. However, E. Tanzarella made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 1.
